Introduction

I have 20 years of experience as a DJ. I offer a professional service for all types of events. I have a lot of experience in weddings including ceremony music, reception music and being master of ceremonies. I also regularly perform at parties, corporate events and school events such as proms. I can mix anything and I can also provide the music videos! What is helpful to my clients is that I accommodate to all music interests from top 40, dance, country, hip hop, rock, alternative, latin (All types), and oldies. I update my collection weekly with all new music but I can take you back to the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2ks. I also provide Karaoke services. My years of experience has allowed me to learn how to read the crowd and adjust the music to the reaction of the guests. I have you covered, all I need is the power outlet. Dj Avila was awesome! He did a wonderful job in listing to my likes and dislikes. The list was long and he played everything I asked for. He was also very professional when it came to discussing the contracts and our wants for our wedding day! He was also timely and never missed any announcement that was asked of him for the reveption. Overall we had a wonderful experience!

DJ Al made my wedding as amazing as it was. The DJ sets the tone for so much. He was able to accommodate my requests and make some really good suggestions to help the flow of the evening. He was able to "read" my guests and everyone had an amazing time. You won't go wrong with Al.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listen, Listen, and then Listen some more to what they need and are looking for. Then I explain all options based on what they need and itemize my role from beginning to end of the event. This assures customers that they are in good hands and that all official formalities are covered along with all possible scenarios accounted for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started to DJ on vinyl so i learned how mix music properly. I work in the tech industry as well since 1999. I have taken many public speaking courses. I have trained many beginner DJs on how to mix music the over years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love music. As a kid, when I first witnessed a DJ mixing songs I was so impressed that i set a goal to become a DJ when i grew up. I became what I wanted to be so it helps me have pride in my work as a DJ. I started mixing at home, then clubs, then mobile.
