FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Call me to set up an introduction lesson and consultation for only $25. My Programs range between $80-$100 Per 45 minute lesson, depending on what program you choose. I want you to experience a lesson with me at very low cost to you, so that you can try it out before you commit to anything. I will customize a program to fit your schedule and budget. I make sure that my prices are competitive. It's important that you feel the value of the lessons before deciding on a program.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Phone Consultation: That's my chance to get to know a little bit about you. I'll ask you some simple questions that will help me get a better picture of what you're looking for. This helps me prepare for our first lesson. Together we will decide on a time and location. 2. The First lesson: This will be a 45 minute lesson with a 15 minute consultation. This is where you will sample different dances as well as my particular teaching style. At the end of the lesson, we will discuss the different programs that I offer. Based on my experience with you during the lesson, I will give you my professional recommendation, but ultimately you will choose the program (number of lessons) that feels right for you. 3. Customizing a Program: Once we have decided on a program, I customize that program and create a personalized syllabus to help us reach your dancing goals as quickly as possible!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been teaching dance for over 12 years. I started out teaching group classes that focused on movement therapy. I've spent the past several years focused primarily on teaching ballroom and social dancing. My curriculum has a fun emphasis on partner connection and learning how to lead and follow in any social setting. I'm also a choreographer. My choreography has primarily been in wedding dances (First Dances, Daddy/Daughter Dances, Mother/Son Dances, and choreographed group dances) I have also done music video choreography in New York for some young artists.
