FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We give our customers precise, upfront pricing through a written estimate. All estimates we provide are valid for 30 days.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Hey there! Our process starts with scheduling an estimate. During the estimate, we'd love to hear more about your project and what you need. We'll ask questions like, "When was your home last painted?", "Are you looking to paint a section or your entire house?", "Have you noticed any areas where the paint is peeling?" Once we get a feel for what you're looking for, we'll take a walk around your house for some measurements. I schedule my estimates in 1.5-hour blocks, and I only need you for the first 15-30 minutes and the last 15 minutes of the estimate. For the first 15 minutes, I'd like to sit down with you to understand your quality expectations, and then we'll take a quick walk around the house to address specific problem areas. Additionally, in the last 15 minutes, I'll come back inside and go through everything with you to ensure we've met your requirements. I hope we can find something that works for you. Does that sound good to you?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In Texas, painting contractors are not required to have a license or any formal training or education. Therefore, homeowners must research whether the painting contractor does excellent work. One way to learn about a painter's proficiency is to ask for references or pictures of previous projects.
