Unfortunately, I booked this artist for my daughters prom. She had wonderful reviews so I figured all was well. 3 days before, I text her and asked if I had sent her my address and I had not so I sent the address over. She responded and said I will see you then! The day of the prom, she was supposed to be there at 3:30. She never said she was on her way, so at 3:35, I called to see if she was running late. She answered the phone and said her car was in the shop and she wouldn’t be able to make it. When I asked her why she didn’t notify me, she stated she thought she would have her car out in time. But it was passed the appointment time and she never notified me which put me in a huge bind for my daughter’s big day. I understand that things happen but as a business owner, you should always remain professional and communicate with your customers. She did immediately refund my deposit along with an extra $10 for inconvenience but that’s not good enough for me.

I introduce myself and get to know my clients/customers by letting them know what I do for a living and asking questions like “how’s your day going?”.

I’m a self taught mua. I started doing makeup out of interest when I was younger. I’m a fast and efficient learner.
