I asked a coworker if they knew anyone with experience in building custom cabinets and he suggested I try the Thumbtack App. I was skeptical to try it, but I’m so happy I did. Keyona from The Keys to Elevation was the first to reach out to me after I posted on the App that I was looking for someone to build custom bookcases and cabinets for my craft room. She was so nice and personable on the phone. When she came to my house to do an official measure and quote, she was even sweeter in person and very professional. I explained what I wanted and showed her photos of other craft rooms I found on Pinterest. I told her that I had been waiting several years to have my own craft room, putting away money every month for a “craft room fund” and that it was going to be the room I would be spending most of my time and so it had to be perfect. She immediately understood how important this project was to me and she took the time to sketch it out and explained her design process and timeline. After our meeting, I was very comfortable with Key and confident that she understood my “vision” for this project. The built in took 4 weeks from start to finish and though it took longer than Key expected, partially because of her accommodating my work schedule, it was well worth the wait. I couldn’t be happier with the final result and I can’t wait to start creating and crafting again. Thank you, Keyona for building an amazing space that I absolutely love and will enjoy for many years to come!

Key and team did excellent work with the cabinets in our kitchen. From making recommendations to providing overall guidance on how to make the rest of the changes in the kitchen, she remained involved with great ideas and suggestions. Wish I could give the entire project to her. Overall extremely happy and satisfied with the work, quality and service. Must Hire!

When my husband and I decided to begin working on several projects in our new home, we initially contacted other pros on thumbtack. They were either unprofessional, unresponsive or way too expensive. When we finally spoke with Keyz, I immediately knew she was the right person for the job. She was very respectful, professional and responsive. Her pricing was also the best and affordable out of all the other quotes we had received.
Working with Keyz has really been a blessing. She did a built in cabinet with floating shelves in our home office, and accent wall in our half bath and stairs. She listened to our ideas, suggestions and finally brought our vision to light. Everything came out exactly as the inspiration pics I showed her.
My husband and I are so happy with the outcome that we booked Keyz again to work on other projects in our house next month.
We’ve developed a really good relationship that we consider her family. She even bought me a dust pan as the one I had was so old and worn out. That’s how amazing she is and cares about her clients.

My project was to build bathroom cabinets with a few vey custom features. Keys Built, installed and painted cabinets on site for all of my bathrooms. Very friendly and listens well. Key strives to deliver what is expected, and succeeded. Great quality product and looks beautiful. I highly recommend The Keys to Elevation for cabinet projects.
