FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have seen many tax services take advantage of taxpayers by charging very high fees. We offer high quality tax preparation at very reasonable prices. We charge a fixed fee that includes e-filing. You will know up front exactly what your cost will be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts when a potential client contacts us by phone or e-mail. We gather some preliminary information and quote a fixed price. We then send a link to our secure, online portal so that the client can upload documents such as W-2 and 1099 forms. This is very easy to do. We then prepare the return and ask any necessary questions as we go along. We send a draft return to the client for review and approval. Once the client approves the return, we e-file it and confirm with the client once the IRS has accepted it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bruce practiced as a tax attorney with a large, international law firm in Washington, DC, before becoming a full-time, law school professor. He has taught taxation to thousands of students over the last 20 years. Bruce has a law degree (J.D.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation. He spends a lot of time writing and speaking about recent tax developments to help attorneys and CPAs stay up to date.
