FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you screen your providers to ensure they have the skills that you need them to have. Some people have a lot more experience than others; some people are familiar with hospital and medical terms, rules, regulations; some are one trained in strictly natural processes; it's important to find someone who is not afraid or does not have back up in speaking with hospital staff and doctors on your behalf. In short, someone who can act as a patient "advocate" not just a Doula; specially if you're considering a hospital birth.
