I think having worked in the business for different companies for approximately 30 years before starting my own company has given me an advantage. I can offer the same level or better expertise as the large companies with less cost, more flexibility, and more attention to what the customer wants and needs. It is very dynamic and challenging from day to day. I have many customers that I consider friends. It is very rewarding to help people with problems that you are uniquely equipped to handle. Printer repair is not a very glamorous job, but if that is your calling, then it is a great occupation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our rates are pretty straight forward. We do most everything on a T&M basis. Time and Material. The labor rate is $95.00hr plus parts. No mileage charge within 50 miles of office. We can deliver a flat rate charge for certain contracting jobs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. It must be a priority because things are changing constantly. The information is vital to successfully maintain electronic equipment. Training also keeps the technician up to date with changes in equipment. Also learning where the industry is heading is helpful in planning for the future.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was looking for stable employment after serving in the military. Graduated from a technical school was the first step. After gaining recognition for my performance it was full steam ahead.
