He's a very good teacher, and he matches my pace of learning. Since the beginning Gerson has been patient with my rookie skills, and me not having any drum knowledge, he'll go over the drum. Allowing me to know how it sounds, how it looks on the notation and how to play it. I leave each lesson with a new understanding. I recommend highly recommend him. Thank you!

One lesson, one day of practice and I can't believe how much better I'm playing already. Excellent instructor. takes his time to help you figure things out. Super personable and major patient. Made me feel like I was doing a good job. Seriously in the past 2 months, I've tried 3 instructors and none could do the job. I'm excited to see what he's going to have me do next and I know he is going to get me drumming like a madwoman! Can't give him enough compliments. I highly recommend him HIGHLY

Never owned a drum set so I wanted someone who would teach me how to play correctly from the start. Only into lesson 2 so far but so it is going well. I was nervous about online teaching but he can easily see what I’m doing (or not doing) remotely and is giving quick feedback to help. Even gives me homework which I appreciate so I have something to work on during until the next lesson.

Working with Gerson at Murphy's was a great experience. For a first timer he made me feel really good about learning the drums. I'm looking forward to my next lesson. I didn't punctuality above because he was the student ahead of me some special attention..and that too was a plus for me, that he would take the time.

I offer different prices from 30 min lessons or an hour lesson for drums. They are expecting a great and valuable rate from my prices.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process making sure they can understand how the read basic drum notes, how to hold the stick properly and to understand the simple rudiments on a snare drum.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to North Lake Community College where i was in the Jazz Assemble for 3 years and study drums there i also study in the music program of Christ for The Nations in Dallas in where i received private drum lessons as well.
