I've cooked for nearly every dietary need or restriction. Most recently, I have been working for professional athletes, providing them nutrition and delicious food during training camp. Prior, I worked with an array of clients with various needs including medicinal cooking for ailments illness and disease, diet preferences for weight loss, and severe food allergies.
While I can cook any type of cuisine, what ties my expertise together is my focus and attention to gut health through my cooking. I have studied how many different diets affect the health of your gut, which is actually the most important organ for your overall health. Therefore, I pay close attention to the ingredients I use - always swapping one thing for something else that is better for you. Always choosing organic. Always choosing grass-fed proteins. Always adding in prebiotics and probiotics where I can. Most of American's diets today are filled with gut disruptors, which is why many people have dietary illnesses, can't lose weight, or feel sluggish. Soy, corn, and GMO are just the tip of the iceberg on this topic.
So, whether or not my client is an in-shape athlete, someone wanting to lose weight, or someone who is desperately searching for nutritional support to help on a path to recovery, my focus is always gut health.
