FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to provide a fixed bid so we share expectations of what you get and what you pay. This takes a little more effort to reach a mutual understanding of something as unclear as video production. But my clients are thankful of my investment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers want to know that their vision, however vague, will be met and that I understand their vision. Our first step is a brief call to reach mutual expectations for the production process and the deliverable product. Some projects require a deposit to reserve the production date and the invoice will include a contract that outlines the services provided. Details relating to the venue, the desired look and feel, and the editing options will be addressed via communication prior to the production day. Editing is usually a 7-10 working day process in which you will get a "proof" copy to review and approve or request changes. The next copy will be your final copy of the deliverables.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Best practices for delivering quality video that meets the preferences of online viewing audiences are evolving rapidly and we monitor industry successes and changing challenges. I also continually monitor and incorporate new practices and equipment advances when they enable more consistent results and lower costs.
