Introduction
My name is Max Palmer and I am a tennis coach in the Houston area. I have played tennis my entire life and have 8 years of coaching experience. Throughout my junior career, I was ranked in the top 50 nationally and went on to play division 1 tennis at Boston College. I was fortunate enough to have been trained by world class coaches and would like to pass on my knowledge of the game to more players in the city of Houston. I am available for individual and group lessons.

Max offers high quality instruction that makes a difference from day 1. He’s differentiated as a coach given his ability to rally and play points, instead of relying solely on feeding balls / drills. However, he is also patient and constructive when I want to focus on certain aspects of my game and his drills have improved my confidence in my backhand. Fun to talk to and overall seems like a great kid. Would recommend.

Everytime I am in town I make sure to book a session or two with Max. He has great energy and is one of the best player-coaches I’ve seen. He is responsive to what I’d like to work on, and always has a mix of technical and match play drills so that I’m constantly pushed to better my all around game. Highly recommend!

Great coach! He explains things well and makes the lesson fun and interesting. You can tell he played D1 college tennis. Highly recommend!
