Hey, I'm Morgan, and I've been involved in martial arts for 13 years with experience in multiple disciplines including Judo, Jujitsu, Kenpo, Karate offshoots, Krav Maga, and Kickboxing. There are a million different ways to approach self defense and my goal is to work with you to figure out how you can protect yourself best and to have a little fun while learning and exercising.
In my mind there's way more to self defense and fighting than just "punch punch kick," and I want to help show you how creative, intuitive, and cerebral it can be, which, on one hand, will help you survive if you ever get caught in a serious situation and defend yourself, will also just be fun to explore.
On top of a variety of ways to defend against specific attacks, I will also teach you how to defend against and use a variety of strikes, throws, chokes, kicks, etc. in a safe way to ensure you do not hurt yourself or others an excessive amount.
On top of that, I will help you develop confidence, mobility, strength and general fitness, coordination, mind-body connection, and a greater understanding of the art and science of fighting.
