FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically workouts are $60/hour when traveling to a client's home. If meeting at an agreed upon location or the trainer's gym then the pricing can be reduced. Also if it is couples training , group training, or for a corporate office the pricing may vary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a general health assessment. This allows me to get to know them, understand their goals, know their limitations or injuries, and get a quick assessment of health. Part of the assessment involves a body composition analysis in which I can quickly learn your BMI, Resting Metabolism, Body Fat percentage, Muscle percentage, and a few other health factors. These things help me to build a custom workout and health plan for each client.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Several years ago I personally was overweight and my doctor told me I needed to start losing weight before I became at risk for health problems. I suddenly began to take health very seriously and was able to lose 30 lbs in 6 months through diet and exercise. During that time I became passionate about learning about health and fitness and sharing my experience with others. As friends and family saw the changes in me they were inspired to lead healthier lives as well. Becoming a source of inspiration excited me and I wanted to begin helping people outside of family and friends. I became a certified personal trainer and have not looked back.
