- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The initial consultation is free of charge. Following the initial consultation, each organizing session is $75 per hour with a 3 hour minimum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
THE PROCESS The Consult - During the initial phone consultation, the Clean Slate consultant will assess the clients needs and challenges. The consultant will discuss the process, expectations and anticipated results. The consultation is free of charge and will last approximately 30-45 minutes. The Purge - The Clean Slate consultant will work together with the client to assess all items. Items to be given to charity or discarded will be prepared for removal. The consultant and client will determine the best use for the space. The Placement - The focus area will be prepared for use. This may include cleaning or installing shelving or other storage support. All items will be placed into selected storage containers. Please note – this process many require the purchase of storage containers. The client may choose to purchase items on their own or with the consultant. The consultant may purchase storage items for the client as well. Organizing sessions will be charged on an hourly basis, with a three hour minimum. Projects may require multiple sessions. Between sessions, the client may have “homework” to prepare for the next organizing session.

About Clean Slate Clean Slate is owned and operated by Lisa Hettinger. A native Californian, Lisa is excited to share her home organization system with her new Texas friends. Lisa has worked in the field of organization for over 15 years. She started her organizing work as an event planner and has organized events from small fundraisers and athletic events to large festivals and million dollar galas. While running her own event management company, she produced events for non-profits, city agencies, community groups, athletic teams and art foundations. Lisa started her work in residential and small business organizing about five years ago. Lisa is a Certified Professional Organizer [CPO], one of 16 in the Houston area, and holds specialist certificates in Residential Organization, Workplace Productivity and Life Transitions. Lisa is a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) National and serves as the President of the NAPO Houston Chapter. Lisa works as a professional organizer, speaker and event management consultant in both the states of Texas and California.
