FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is straightforward and includes everything: full kitchen protection, factory-grade spray application, premium 2K polyurethane that won't peel in Houston humidity, hardware reinstallation, hinge adjustment, daily cleanup, and our 5-year written warranty. No hidden fees, no surprise charges, no franchise sales tactics. Cabinet refinishing typically ranges from $4,500 for small kitchens (10-15 doors) to $14,000+ for premium projects with crown molding, range hoods, pantries, or two-tone finishes. We're not the cheapest option in Houston — we're the specialists. If you're price-shopping for a basic paint job under $3,000, we're not the right fit. If you want factory-grade quality that lasts 5+ years, that's exactly what we deliver. Use our live online estimator to see your real price in 2 minutes — no phone call needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to keep you informed and confident every step of the way: Step 1: You use our live online estimator (9 quick questions, 2 minutes) and get a real price range for your kitchen — no waiting for callbacks, no sales pressure. Step 2: I personally come to your home for a free 30-minute measurement. I'm Fernando, the owner — not a salesperson, not a project manager. I confirm details, talk through colors, and give you a final written quote on the spot. Step 3: Once approved, we schedule your start date and collect a small deposit. On day 1, my in-house crew sets up containment, protects your floors, and removes every door and drawer to take to our shop spray booth. Step 4: Days 2-4, we spray your doors and drawers in our climate-controlled spray booth while we refinish your face frames and cabinet boxes on-site. You can use your kitchen the entire time. Step 5: Days 5-7, we reinstall everything, adjust hinges, install hardware, and walk through with you. Final payment is due only after you're satisfied with the work. Every step is owner-led. If anything comes up during your project, you call me directly — not a call center.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've spent years specializing specifically in cabinet refinishing — not generic house painting. My training includes: Professional HVLP spray application certification Sherwin-Williams 2K polyurethane application training Factory-grade cabinet refinishing techniques Climate-controlled spray booth operation Cabinet repair and prep methodology Texas humidity-specific finishing protocols Cabinet refinishing requires completely different skills than wall painting. Most painters can paint a wall. Few can deliver a true factory-grade finish on cabinets that won't peel, chip, or yellow in Houston's climate. That's the specialization I've built Wise Pro Painting around. We also continually invest in equipment — our spray booth, HVLP guns, and dust-controlled work environment ensure every cabinet door we refinish achieves a smooth, durable, professional result.
