This booking created several challenges for me. The guy showed up 34 minutes late. He had no drill, no stud finder and no ladder. How in the world did he think he was going to complete a slat wall in the garage without his own tools. He was late. He asked me if I had a drill and a ladder. I Did! But what if I didn’t have those tools. When I asked him about the stud finder he told me he really didn’t need one. I became concerned about him not drilling directly into the studs. He was a little offended by my questions. I didn’t like this at all. So I reached out to the owner and together they made it seem as though they could do the job without a stud finder. I was so afraid of letting him do the job because now instead of being prepared he was expecting me to provide him with what he needed to do the job I hired him to do. Well I gave him my drill and my ladder to do the job. And I paid full price for the job! No offer of a discount from the owner! I will not be using this company again for any work at my house. He didn’t come prepared. He was late which made me late for another appointment. Nobody called to say they would be late either. When he finished he had to sit on my front porch and wait for someone to pick him up! NEVER AGAIN! 😡😠 I guess I better put the ladder up now!
