FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is set firm at my studio and will vary depending on the distance traveled for private sessions at student's residences.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I look for what inspires you, such as pieces that fuel your interest to play alongside musicians you aspire to emulate. Your long term goals are just as important as your short term goals, so I make sure I have a clear picture of what you're looking to achieve. If you are a novice with a passion to learn, it's imperative to understand that you cannot become a pro at your craft while putting in the hours of a hobbyist. On the other hand, not everyone wants to become a professional, so as long as your philosophy aligns with your objectives, then you will accomplish anything you want in music.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing guitar for over 15 years, and took formal lessons from some of the most incredible instructors in Houston. I have a background in music theory and guitar-specific disciplines via HCC and the University of Houston.
