I’m Tiarra Walker aka Red I started my professional wardrobe styling journey in 2012 with the School of Style. There I learned everything about being a stylist, from showrooms, studio services, editorial and also commercial work. I have experience with Hollywood’s tops stylist and celebs. I’ve worked on music videos and Pepsi super bowl commercials. My experience has led me to now becoming a personal stylist, which isn’t new to my close family and friends who have been reaping the free benefits for years :) Fashion is my life, I love that with the right clothes your presence will say it all. I want everyone to have that experience and just look good. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to have a conversation to get an idea of personality. During the question I will ask questions about the direction the client wants. Fun easy going process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a wardrobe stylist certificate from a Los Angeles based school: school of style
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My love for clothes came from my grandmothers. They always looked so “ put together” . One had a colorful and fun style. The other was very monochromatic. I’ve incorporated both into my own personal style.
