I hired quickfix to take a look at my AC which was working pretty good but I know wasn’t at 100%. The techs showed up and said I had a leak and needed my gas topped up andwas missing only 20% which explained why the AC was cooling but a touch slower. I was told i would be getting an estimate later from the office for the leak fix and gas. Soon after the visit I noticed my AC stopped working completely. After spending a night in the heat, I went in the attic to take a look and saw that the tech had left everything open on my unit upstairs with the screws still out (picture attached). This still didn’t explain why the AC stopped cooling. When I went outside to inspect the unit, I saw a huge patch right by my AC which smelled like chemical (picture attached). I proceeded to call another company who confirmed that my gas was down to zero because the earlier tech had decided they needed to remove all my gas. This is the worst experience Ive had with any service company where it seems like they intentionally messed things up to make more money. If this was a mistake then the team at quickfix is extremely unprofessional as they did not communicate their mistake to me. Fortunately for me, the new company I selected resolved the problem at a fraction of the quote from quickfix but I had to spend a lot on extra gas due to quickfix’s negligence/mistakes. I would not trust these guys at all. If you hired them, do not leave them unattended.

Hello Omar, I believe you were mislead by the company who came after us. We never remove refrigerant from a person System that is a very unethical. Your system had a leak in your evaporator coil and that why it was inspected and opened. That stain you see if from a outdoor refrigerant leak as well. We bid you 2100 for the coil in October when their was a nationwide shortage. Its fair price considering the cost of doing business. Its easy to make up scenarios which are false that mislead people and make your company look good. Our company has a code of ethics We would never remove freon from a refrigerant from a home. We did make the mistake of not tighten the screws which we would of been happy to close the unit for you without service trip fees. We do apologize for our mistake. Our techs are under extreme heat and people do make mistakes from time to time. Sorry again we will make improvements for better communication and service. I appreciate the criticism and will make sure we make changes. Please let call us when their is a problem we do want to provide quality service to our customer and potential customers.

This was very disappointing. I set up an appointment and the company didn’t show up. I didn’t get a text or phone call. I rushed home to get there in time and noticed they were never there as we agreed. I called the company and haven’t heard anything other than they are not sure why they didn’t make it. I had two other companies that beat their quote but they had agreed to match it which is why I stayed with them. I have accepted another company’s offer.
