Our focus is on quality ingredients and respecting the origins of our cuisine, coupled with beauty. We only provide food that is made 100% from scratch from our team. We’ve spent our lifetimes focusing on four areas of cuisine: Korean, Japanese, American, and Italian. However, we now focus solely on traditional Japanese sushi. When we cook, our goal is to provide food that is of the highest quality and tastes not only like it should be served in a high-end restaurant, but also has the distinct yet indescribable notes of being made with the care of a home cook. Hiring Chef Sunny was a FANTASTIC decision. You never know what you're going to get when you hire someone online, but I hit the jackpot with Chef Sunny! We did a family dinner for nine people (including two 16 year olds!!), and every single person loved it and was raving about the experience. Sunny was super responsive, and he showed up promptly when he said he would. The sushi he provided was excellent...even for the one in our group who had lived in Japan. Sunny did a great job coming up with a fish "line up" that would appeal to the whole group, and he worked the room beautifully (all while preparing the fish!). This was absolutely worth the money, and we will definitely do it again. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Everything about this experience screamed once in a lifetime. The team of two professionals were amazing and so much fun. Now let’s talk food, so amazing! It was so fun walking through the history of the food while each course was made and being able to connect it down to my own roots. Thank you Chef Sunny and Seyoung; I will never forget today!

My husband and I had an OUTSTANDING experience with Sunny and his partner. He provided a menu that favored exactly what we were looking for (and catered to my pregnancy cravings - Italian food and crème brûlée). My husband and I had a “stay at home babymoon” and thought a private chef would be a fun idea. Sunny and his partner did not disappoint. The food was all fresh and homemade (including homemade pasta), and we even got leftovers!! They were both very kind to be around. They came in about an hour before the said dinner time, and they were right one schedule with the first course being served. Sunny let us know everything that we were eating and had a great demeanor with everything he did. Sometimes you fear “awkwardness” with strangers coming into your home, but Sunny and his partner made you feel like you’ve known them for years. Both just super outgoing and a good time all around. 11/10 rating on the food and service. We can’t wait to have them back after the baby arrives so we can try his homemade sushi!!!

    I currently work with one of the most prestigious and largest law firms in Houston, Vinson & Elkins, serving all of their needs from cocktail parties to full service dinner events. My team and I also service many private party dinners and luncheons, most frequently via my oft-changing Omakase service. Our service schedule also covers many weddings and catered events for the Houston area, including at companies like Memorial Herman, Houston Methodist, Johnson & Johnson, and more!

    One of my biggest passions is providing private omakase dinner services for clients. My clients trust me to provide excellent cuisine, and I find nothing more rewarding than when our clients trust my kitchen to trust the chef with their food.
