- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our services are included in 3 packages, and you can choose to work with us from the beginning to the end of the project or simply choose the package[s] that’s right for you. Discovery package. When you have an idea for a design. We look at what you want the design to accomplish. The brand behind it. Then form 3 concepts. That you can choose from to design with. After we create the design you can go back and make one round of revisions. Our pricing for this service typically starts at $925. Design for manufacturing. Here we refine a design for manufacturing and prepare you for production. This package gives you unlimited revisions in a set amount of time giving you at least one month to fully refine your design. Modeling: when you have the design details and dimensions worked out and just need someone to put it together for you. I can deliver CAD Rendering in many file types including STL and STEP files (common for 3D printing). We also include a sketch with a front, top, side, and isometric view that can be delivered in PDF (upon request). But that’s not all, I can walk you through all of the steps, and show you how to get a one-year free trial of Fusion 360. This enables you to open your design on your computer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1) A phone call to cover the scope of your project. We discuss proccing right up front giving you an estate right away. For bigger projects, I might require more information. If for any reason we are not a good fit I will let you know right away Step 2) An in-depth dive into product requirements Step 2.1 (Discovery Package ONLY) takes a deep dive into many more factors such as: What do you want your brand to say about your product? What can we do to make your brand say these things? What environment will your product will be used in? How do you want people to feel when they use your product? How do you plan to manufacture, distribute and ship your product? Step 3) Deliver invoice and discuss payment options Step 4) Create your design and deliver your project to your expectations Step 5) Revise and make any changes needed Step 6) Deliver a high-quality print or milled part
