I have been hands on in the construction industry for over 20 years. I have hands on experience in residential remodeling and repairs and six years as a high school construction and welding trades teacher. The transition seemed natural to move into home inspections. After completing the state required education and internship, I received my license through TREC (#25064) as a professional home inspector. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Teaching has been a large part of my education. I received my OSHA 10 hour safety certification and NCCER training certifications for construction trades. Along side construction, I taught welding principles and practices. Prior to teaching I built a guest house in Fredericksburg, TX in 2007. While building the house I began to do small remodeling jobs. These jobs led me to repair many common household problems.
