I have been hands on in the construction industry for over 20 years. I have hands on experience in residential remodeling and repairs and six years as a high school construction and welding trades teacher. The transition seemed natural to move into home inspections. After completing the state required education and internship, I received my license through TREC (#25064) as a professional home inspector. Pricing is based on the house. The primary consideration is square footage, location, crawlspace, and age are other factors that will determine the final price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Make a phone call and find out more about the house and the client's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Teaching has been a large part of my education. I received my OSHA 10 hour safety certification and NCCER training certifications for construction trades. Along side construction, I taught welding principles and practices. Prior to teaching I built a guest house in Fredericksburg, TX in 2007. While building the house I began to do small remodeling jobs. These jobs led me to repair many common household problems.
