Ruben and his team removed popcorn ceilings and installed a new garage door opener for us and they did an amazing job. He was very communicative throughout the process and they were very prompt and quick in completing the job. We highly recommend Ruben for any projects!

My area of Temple was damaged by the smaller F1 tornado and this is my first house so I've never dealt with anything like this. After taking quotes Ruban gave the best price and that's with special order high quality shingles. Doing research others charge more for lower quality brands but Ruban lets you choose what you want. As with everything there was a slight hiccup, just a short delay because was wanted special order parts but everything was communicated and work was done before more storms hit the area. I would like to note his team started work long before my neighbors whom already signed with contractors got anything done some of whom months later are still waiting. He is insured, local and retired military which are all more the reason to at least get a quote from him. Oh and he works with your schedule and gets stuff done I work nights and my driveway is blocked but he worked with me to get my family back on track and hopefully return to normal and get past these hard times.

If I could give Ruben's Handyman Service more than 5 Stars that would be what I would do. Everything about our roof replacement was excellent. Ruben had great communication skills and scheduled the job around our schedule. The day that the roof was to be replaced, he and his crew showed up like clock work. The crew was very experienced and professional. Highly recommend and will use him on other jobs in the future.

I needed a new roof and I started to search on the Internet not really knowing what to look for and I came across Ruben’s Handyman service on Thumbtack. I messaged him he stayed in contact with me from start to finish. his crew was here at 7:30 AM and they were done by 1 PM. my yard was left clean and the surrounding area was left clear he helped me with contacting my insurance agent and suggesting different materials for the roof. All in all it was a surprisingly relaxed situation. He was helpful kind and professional, I will definitely be calling on Ruben again for his handyman services.

Ruben was exceptionally professional through the tedious process of evaluating contractor estimates, selecting flooring materials, and working with a third-party property manager. He went the extra mile finding a better value material, was straight forward with his availability, and did an excellent job installing the floor at a reasonable price. Would work with him again and recommend to others for their floor projects in the Killeen area.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing varies on every job. I really can't give a price for unseen work to be done. It is difficult to price jobs that might have unforseen issues. I like to go to the job site and conduct a thourough analysis; All my estimates are free of charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the meet and greet, I like to see exactly what they need/want done. I listen to the details on whatever they want. I make suggestions on materials or products that I know are good. I give free estimates on the spot; if it's not too complicated. If it's too complicated, I'll take pictures, take measurements and do my research to give the customer the best possible price. Sometimes I will give multiple prices based off of quality and types of materials.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in all aspects of construction, to include: framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring, roofing, painting, and even landscaping. My most recent job was for a roofing company.
