- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base price for any handyman job is $80. Some jobs I can’t give a straight estimate might be because it including many little jobs, then you will be paying me $80/hour till the job is complete. If you want me to come out to the area to look at it and give you an estimate, you will have to pay $75 fee unless you decide to hire me later on, I will deduct the $75 off of the final quote.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I installed crown molding in the main living area for a customer. It only take 2 and a half hours from start to finish and they love the outcome! They even surprise how fast I got the job done 😀
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please be upfront about the budget if you have one on any project. I won’t quote you outrageous pricing but sometimes, estimate might be more than what you have in mind depending on what project it is since pricing on everything is going up right now. I will work with you on the budget. Even though sometime the job do not turn out how you want it to be but please keep in mind, I have a base price of $80. For example: you might have bought the wrong stuffs and after I installed, you don’t like how it look or it doesn’t work how you want it to, unfortunately you still have to pay me the base price because I still spending gas, time and labor doing the job.
