Introduction
Melinda’s passion for training began at 9 years of age with her family dog, Hershey. Since then, Melinda has enjoyed training her dogs for fun in agility, skills, hunting, tricks, and service dog work. In 2017, Melinda medically retired from law enforcement and began a new journey where she could turn her passion for dogs into a career. Melinda attended Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage in 2020 where she earned her Canine Massage Therapy license. Since then, she has found a true passion for helping owners build the best relationship possible with their dogs. Melinda specializes in puppy raising, behavior modification, and sport dog training. During her spare time, Melinda trains and competes in dog sports and continues their never-ending journey of canine education.

Melinda is amazing. I had my 12 week Standard Poodle puppy trained by her starting the week after I brought her home. We started with the basics and worked our way up to CGC. Over a year later & I still have her help me with questions about Agility. This is my first professionally trained dog & I wouldn’t have it any other way. Melinda is my go to for any questions about behavior or any concerns about continuing education with training. She is so kind & caring to my Spoo. If you are looking for someone who is genuine, loves what they do & puts the well being of the pets first, I would 100% recommend Melinda every time.

Melinda worked with our Rottweiler mix puppy for 17 straight days. When we got her back, she was an entirely different dog! Melinda came to our home and showed us the commands she had taught her and we were very impressed! She learned to sit, down, place, heal, break, stay, walk on a leash, and many other things. She did follow up visits to ensure everything was going smoothly. We can’t speak highly enough about Melinda and her skill as a dog trainer and her professionalism as a person. We highly recommend Melinda Invergo for your dog training needs.

Melinda has been a lifesaver for training our Mini Aussie. We did a board and train with her while my wife and I were in Hawaii on vacation, and we thought she took our dog and gave us a completely different one, what a difference! We had an unruly puppy that thought he ran the house and he came home a respectful and well behaved baby. I couldn’t recommend Melinda more to any of my friends and family for the progress she’s made with our dog and the invaluable training methods she’s taught us. Don’t go anywhere else for your training needs, you’d be missing out on one of the best!

She has always been someone to devote her whole self when it comes to dogs and always looks at what’s best for them! With the dog training industry a lot of people focus on results but she focuses on both results and the dog in front of her to do what benefits them the most!
