This was the strangest situation. We had a time set for him to come look things over and give me an estimate. He called 15 minutes late to tell me he wasn’t coming and needed to reschedule, which I was okay with. Then he called me right back to ask if I was happy with his prices. I told him he hadn’t given me a price yet. He said he couldn’t until he looked over the work and took measurements. I said I knew that and that’s why we were having the meet up. He said he couldn’t make it and asked again if I liked his price. I told him he hadn’t given me one. He assured me he had good ones. Then asked if I wanted to start work. I told him I had another company coming to give me an estimate and I’d go over my options with his place and theirs. He chuckled and then said he could come now to look before asking again if I liked his prices. I reiterated I didn’t know his prices. Then he said “This is my business, you called me”. I told him I’d actually reached out to him through this app where I had multiple pros it put me in touch with that would be meeting and giving me estimates. Finally, I just said it was okay and we would be going in a different direction and wished him well. I wasn’t happy with how he spoke to me or seemed intent on making me agree to use him without ever hearing an estimate or meeting him. Just be aware. His name is Gabriel.
