*Music entertainment inquiries; live music of string/piano/guitar only- Light Classical and requested covers for weddings and events only. Currently accepting new violin & viola students for the upcoming school year, I teach from my private home studio (*I do not travel), parents are welcome to observe during lesson! Reach out to schedule a trial lesson ______________ Think of me as a personal trainer for violin & viola, we will go through exercises, scales, and repertoire weekly based on your interests and needs; playing together and advancing both your physical and artistic approach to playing a string instrument! I have performed in many different places, from Carnegie Hall to Lollapalooza and also teach many different styles (fiddle, bluegrass, some rock & pop) and studied violin and viola at the highest levels, earning degrees from the Juilliard School in NYC and Lausanne Conservatoire in Switzerland. I have been taking lessons with Mr. Resetar for the past year, and it is insane the amount of progress I’ve made since I’ve started working with him. He has helped me so much with my technique and he keeps me moving through repertoire, and going deep into the music. I feel that he really cares about his students and their individual needs. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's evaluate your needs and goals on violin or viola performance with a trial lesson. We will talk through your experience, technical training and music reading skills, and most importantly - what musical pieces, styles, and performing goals YOU want to achieve!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received my bachelor in music performance from The Juilliard School in NYC, an a master's in Switzerland studying at the Lausanne Conservatoire.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had taught younger talented musicians at the Juilliard Pre-College program and decided it was time to start my own private studio! It was a great success watching students perform on stage for the first time in a solo recital and invite all their family and friends to see their hard work and progress.
