What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask who will be leading your film crew on the wedding day. I am personally at 99% of all my booked weddings. Many competitors use contractor videographers and have a cookie-cutter process. We take the time and pride ourselves to have a product that is unique and custom to you and your special day. Verify they have business insurance, accidents can happen. Make sure the person you hire has insurance. Otherwise, if they don't, they are taking unnecessary risks.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What will be the format of the live stream? Static cameras like a beach cam, or action cameras and multi view like watching a live news broadcast. For photobooth look out for hidden fees some of my customers advised me that some other vendors will try to rent photobooth at a low rate then surprise with an ink and paper fee of over $120. All our packages have no hidden fees.
