FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees are discussed during your FREE phone consultation. Sessions are typically one hour in length. All payments are private pay via cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or credit card. In consideration of your best interest, we do not file insurance claims.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to schedule your complimentary phone consultation. I find my clients appreciate the opportunity to ask me questions and get to know me a little bit. It also gives me a chance to find out where you are and where you want to be. If we agree that you are a good fit during this 15-20 minute call, I can schedule your appointment at one of my three locations. I also offer online sessions for those who don't want to travel or come in for a face-to-face session. At the beginning of your first appointment, you will need to fill out a brief information sheet. If your sessions are virtual, we can email it to you for completion. Each session typically lasts 50 minutes to 1 hour in length, but if you need additional time and my schedule permits, you can continue at a prorated rate in 15-minute increments.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my master's degree and then a doctoral degree (PhD) in counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to this, I earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from Oklahoma Baptist University.
