FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know their needs and what kind of schedule they would like to be on.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out working for a friend of mine in '92 for a few years. Then in 2004 a company who mowed several homes on my parent's street never showed up for the new season. The yards were looking awful and the majority of the yards were owned by elderly widowed women so I ended up mowing them on my own at no charge. After about 6 weeks of this I asked a few of them when they were going to hire a lawn service. They replied that they liked the way I mowed and asked if I would continue. I was kinda shocked to hear the request since they knew I had a full time job at Txdot but I ended up taking on the extra work because I needed the extra money and I really cared for my parent's neighbors. I had grown up knowing most of them and it felt great that they trusted and liked my work. So during that year I picked up more and more yards and in 2005 I began Hunt's Lawn Services.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All types. Ones that are easy to deal with and ones that aren't. Ones that pay on time and ones that don't. Ones that need extra work done when we get there and ones that just do not want a letter from the city for grass being to tall. I work with multiple property management agencies and hundreds of private residents. We mow churches, shopping centers, duplexes, vacant lots, residential homes etc
