FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

All projects are estimated based on scope discussed at the initial in-home appointment at a rate of $175/ hour. This fee covers the design phase of a project, as hourly billing stops when furnishings are ordered. I charge a fair retail price for furnishings, and this cost covers my time to manage orders and provide turn-key installation.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

After receiving an inquiry, I meet new clients in their home to discuss their needs, goals, and tastes. With that information, I develop an estimate for client approval. Once approved, design work begins! The initial design phase typically takes 2-4 weeks, depending on the project scope and other projects in my calendar.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, and have been trained by designer Justin Seitz and architect Wilson Fuqua. I am in the process of NCIDQ licensure, and have successfully completed 2/3 of the requirements to become a Registered Interior Designer in the state of Texas.
