• As a tennis player with over fifteen years of experience playing competitive tennis, ranked as #1 in Mexico for two consecutive years and performing five years of college D1 tennis as #1 and #2 in the line up for both singles and doubles, I have the ability to transfer my knowledge to my students and take them to the tennis level they are aiming to have. • With over six years of experience teaching kids from all age ranges and adults too, I am able to recognize the way my students absorb knowledge and adapt my teaching to get the best possible results. • I am bilingual and flexible with my hours depending on my student needs and schedule. • I can travel to the student and if the student does not count with tennis courts, I have private tennis courts we can practice at.

My son has been taking lessons with Vanessa a little over 6 months and had very little exposure to tennis before that. During this time he has grown tremendously. He joined the tennis team at his high school, played his first tournament and wants to continue playing long term. This is the first sport he has played consistently and I believe Vanessa has a lot to do with that. She is patient and truly cares about his growth in the sport while at the same time pushing him and making him uncomfortable for continued growth. I recently met Vanessa’s Dad who was her coach growing up and I can see that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Tennis and teaching are part of this family and with that comes with a ton of experience, knowledge and ways to adjust the learning as necessary for the student. She is now incorporating drills with a ball machine we got my son. Her prices are fair and is very flexible. She drives far to teach my son and has made it work. We are very happy we found her!

Vanessa has been a wonderful tennis coach for my daughter who was brand new to the sport. I feel Vanessa has the ability to mechanically break down a client's tennis stroke and correct what the person is doing wrong. This is a very valuable gift and really benefits the person getting instruction. In addition she is very pleasant, a good communicator, and energetic. I highly recommend her.

Vanessa is AWESOME! Not only she is amazing at teaching but also understands your needs and goal and helps and pushes you to reach your goal! Very professional and passionate but also super friendly and approachable and she’s very good at getting back to you or answering questions via test. She doesn’t lay back and go easy when it comes to teaching. She make sure that you’ll the most out of each lesson! I would recommend her to all my friends who wants to learn tennis!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I started working at summer camps at El Paso, I found my passion for teaching and helping my students improve their game, I believe tennis is a sport that allows you to strengthen your values and character on your daily life, not only on the court. Being part of that process, seeing that growth on my students, how much they have improved as tennis players and how that improvement brings happiness and satisfaction into their life’s gives me a sense of satisfaction and motivation like nothing else.
