- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is different, so in order to give you the most accurate price - we need to know the full scope of the work. This means things like how much area needs to be taped off, what the actual surface area of your space that needs to be painted is (because square footage of room doesn’t equal square footage of painted area!), and the color and condition of your walls.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet and I provide a free on site painting estimate. Once the customer approves our quote, a Five Star representative Salesperson or Production Manager gets in touch with the customer to schedule the work. We walk through and make sure we’re on the same page (e.g. colors, # of coats, and the daily schedule) and identify any issues ahead of time. We check our jobs daily and make ourselves available to our customers for any issues that may arise. At job completion, we walk around again with the customer to ensure that they are completely satisfied with the final product. At that time we request final payment. All unused paint will be left for the customer.
