FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When contacted by a potential customer, we ask for rough dimensions of space or schedule a measure by one of our trained install professionals. One of our kitchen and bath designers will then begin the design process and schedule a preliminary consultation. At that point, the customer has the option of making changes or approving the design. Once the customer approves the design, they may purchase the materials for the job from By Design Kitchen and Bath Solutions. When the materials are scheduled to arrive, we will contact the customer to schedule the installation process. At that point, the customer will purchase the installation services from By Design Kitchen and Bath Solutions. On the installation start date, we will inspect all materials for defects and, if there is no irreparable damage, we will start the tearout and begin the installation. If the customer has their own installer, we can sell materials directly to the homeowner and will advise the customer when items are available for pickup or delivery.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
By Design Kitchen and Bath Solutions works primarily with homeowners, but can also work with contractors to assist with their residential jobs. We have options to meet almost any budget and have worked with customers of a variety of economic backgrounds.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It is important to consider your budget prior to reaching out to a professional. A preliminary budget will allow a kitchen and bath desiger to design a beautiful kitchen that you can afford and get everything you can possibly get for the amount of money you are willing to spend. Discussing budget can be difficult, but it is the best way to assure that you get everything you can for your money. Without a budget, your designer may scare you off with a price that is too high, when they could have given you a beautiful kitchen that you can easily afford.
