With almost 50 weddings performed, it is time to update our introduction. My wife and I began this journey five years ago. We have enjoyed all the rehearsals and weddings we have been a part of...there are lots of great memories, new friends, and the happiness of seeing two people at the beginning of their life together. I was an umpire for 20 years, officiating weddings someone said, "should fit right in". On a more serious note, my first ordination was in 1985 with Ministry of Salvation Church. Having a fully inclusive and non-denominational spiritual approach to Christ. Love is the greatest pursuit in life. I hope to be a positive factor in a long and happy marriage. Themes make for such a great time, and I am willing to indulge a brides wish for a dream wedding. The website is for my photography, we officiate weddings. Our price to officiate your wedding is $150.00, and a charge of $0.67 per mile, round trip, if not in Austin. For instance, a wedding in Waco would add a $139.36 the $150.00 fee. Delane and his wife were incredible! He gave us exactly what we wanted and didn’t question us at all when we requested no religion involved in our ceremony. Highly recommended for other couples in search of an officiant!

I had such a wonderful time working with Delane and Cheryl. They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. I was originally working with another officiant that wasn’t very responsive and cancelled 2 weeks before my wedding and luckily Delane was there to save the day! They work as a team and Cheryl was happy to answer any and every question I had. They showed up earlier than the time they were expected to. They connected a lot with our family, even went to school with one of aunts 10 years ago! I am so glad the first officiant cancelled because I had an amazing experience this time around. I would 1000% recommend hiring Delane to be your officiant. Everything was seamless and easy. Thank you so much and it was wonderful meeting y’all!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We accept Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, PayPal, and cash. A 50% non-refundable deposit to save the date. Our fee to perform the ceremony is $150.00 and $1.00 per mile round trip.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First contact on thumbtack and share our email and phone to avoid any missed communication. We share our base script, build off of that and answer any questions you may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ordained minister in 1989 and began officiating weddings in conjunction with our ministry, Church of Love in God. We are a totally, inclusive ministry!
