Currently, I work as a freelance medical interpreter part time. I was educated in Madrid until I returned to NY to attend university. Taking Spanish lessons from Joanne has been a great experience. She is a wonderful teacher and a pleasure to work with. I’m an adult who studied Spanish in high school and college but as the years went on found I was losing my Spanish knowledge. Joanne has helped me to recover and surpass my previous Spanish speaking abilities and i look forward to continuing to improve.

I met with Joanne Donheiser about a series of lessons to help my Spanish speaking. Because of some issues of my own, we did not actually undertake this program. She did listen to my situation and outlined an approach. I was very favorable impressed with her professionalism and pleasing manner. I am sorry that I am not working with her regularly.

My oldest son was experiencing difficulty in his Spanish class. Hiring Joanne was one of the best decisions we made this year. He went from low B's to high A's within a couple of tests! We are thrilled and our son now has the confidence to go into high school Spanish. He is even interested in studying abroad in Spain!
