Alltex did a small repair job on my patio roof in October,2018. The job was to replace rotted decking, cover with felt , replace old rolled roofing with new, and replace gutters . This was all done by his handyman after the owner inspected and quoted the job.One area I was very specific about was replacing a section of decking that had a chipboard patch which I hated. Materials for the plywood to do the job correctly would have been (2) 4x8 sheets plus (1) 4x4 sheet. Naturally , he would have purchased (3) sheets of 4x8 plywood and half of one sheet would not have been used, which would have been fine. But , the owner only purchased 2 sheets and that what was installed. So I have paid for felt, roofing tar ( which leaked onto my patio floor and patio chairs) and rolled roofing over 16 square feet of rotted wood. Can you imagine how bad that looks ? In addition, the gutter did not get replaced , he gave me a $100.00 credit and said he would return to finish the job. Lots of emails, phone calls and promises, but never came back. I also talked to the owner upon initial meeting to quote a flat roof replacement over my garage . This is at least a $ 12,000.00 job. Its also a job, he will never get. If cannot do a simple job, why would anyone trust him to complete a large roof job. Spring is here, the storms will come. THINK very hard before considering Alltex Roofing for any kind of work, big or small. Roofing contractors dont have the best reputation in the first place and this doesnt help . Ive called Alltex roofing a couple of times to look at my roof when concerned of hail damage. Fortunately (and somewhat unfortunately) both times Mr. Stewart came out to look for damage and provide recommendations. He was very honest in sharing that my roof was in good shape despite the recent hail storms. He recommend that I not file through insurance based on the cost to repair the little damage I had. Both times Mr. Stewart was friendly, timely and most importantly, honest.Ive also called Mr. Stewart when considering a home purchase to inspect the roof. I was glad a did because the roof was in need of replacing and the sellers werent willing to take care of the issues. We walked away from the purchase. I am grateful we were able to make an informed decision based on Mr. Stewarts report. I highly recommend using Alltex for any of your roofing needs and trusting his expertise.Erica

Historic residence: Roofing, Windows, finish restoration, and paintingAlltex did a super job! The prices were reasonable. The manpower was plentiful and continuous. Workmen were polite and helpful. The skill level was good and open for discussion in planning. Never did anyone refuse to discuss methods, nor say, dont worry well take care of it. I am a superintendent on construction of schools, factories, major data centers, and big box retail. This gives me a wealth of experience from which I may measure a contractor. Alltex excelled on the issues important to me (and most likely you). Quality was plentiful as the work progressed. Daily cleanup was good. We.were hit hard by hail in Dallas June 9th and we had hail damage to our roof. We called Alltex Roofing Systems for a quote and hired them. They came out quickly and installed our roof in one day. It looks great and adds value to our home. The owner was kind and knowledgeable and helped us with our insurance claim. The roofing team was very nice and did a good professional job. If you were hit by hail and need a new roof call Alltex they'll take care of you.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First, we believe in providing top quality products installed by well trained and supervised crews. We price our services to be competitive, and a good value. Senior citizens (over 65) are eligible for a five per cent discount. If you believe your roof may be damaged or in need of repair or replacement, Alltex will provide a free inspection and a detailed line item proposal.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we perform a thorough inspection of the project, then ask questions in order to determine exactly what the customer wants, and expects. Then we listen. We then present the best options and explain in detail what will be done before moving forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My skills and experiences --I am a certified building contractor licensed by the City of Dallas. --This designation entitles me to install all types of asphalt composition shingles. I work with all major manufacturers, including GAF, TAMKO, Certainteed, Owens Corning and others. --We are experienced in all types of metal, including R Panel, and standing seam systems. --Tile, simulated slate, and wood shingles. --Many types of commercial roof applications, including TPO, modified bitumen rolled roofing, EPDM, as well as specialty roof coatings. --Our crews are certified by the Texas Wind Insurance Program (TWIP), which entitles us to work in coastal hurricane zones.
