I can’t say enough about how great things were working with Chef LaRon. Presentation was on point, food was delicious and plentiful even though it was suppose to be a bday dinner for only 10, I can say we feed many more than that number and we all enjoyed the food! Great personality and all around good guy to work with. I found a diamond with Food With Love catering!

We planned a super last minute party for my mom’s birthday and Chef LaRon and his team were able to get with me to make it happen. He was very attentive and professional. The food was amazing. I highly recommend him for any event.

Unfortunately we did not get the experience we paid for. We specifically were looking for, and communicated, with both Chef LaRon, as well as many other chefs we were considering, that we were looking for a chef to cook at our Airbnb. Chef LaRon stated he could definitely help us out with that and asked for our information to send over an estimate. We went through with him, paid in full 6 weeks prior to our event. Chef LaRon canceled the day before stating he had an emergency but still made accommodations for his husband to come and do our event who we were told was also a chef. He was late arriving. He arrived with all of the food already made which was not what we asked/paid for. We specifically asked for no buffalo wings and we still received them. The Chef then left because he said he forgot the salad and would be right back. He took a long time to come back so by that time the food was cold because he didn’t put flames under any of the trays and everyone had to microwave their food! He then said he would be back in a few hours to clean up. Being the birthday girl I was trying to stay positive and not let the unfortunate circumstance ruin my time so we took what we had and made the best of it. I contacted Chef LaRon when I arrived back home from traveling with my concerns and he stated he would reimburse me half of the total cost. After contacting multiple times, 3 weeks later we finally received a reimbursement less than what was promised to us. He apologized for taking so long then proceeded to say it was because “he needed to pay his rent”, extremely unprofessional! We are very saddened with the whole process and we were really looking forward to supporting a small black owned business. There is definitely potential, but there is some room for growth and development, and until then I personally could not recommend to anyone.
