- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The legal intake process at Raoufpour Law Firm, PLLC typically involves several steps: 1. Initial contact: This can be through a phone call, email, or in-person meeting where you provide an overview of your legal issue. 2. Assessment: During this stage, we will assess your issue to determine if we are the best fit and if we can can provide the necessary legal services to tackle your legal needs. 3. Information gathering: If we determine that we can take you on as a client, we will gather more information from you to better understand the situation and determine the best course of action. 4. Evaluation: We will then evaluate the case and determine its merits. 5. Confirmation: If both parties choose to move forward, we will provide you with a written engagement letter outlining the terms of representation. 6. Case preparation: We will then begin preparing the case/documents and taking the necessary steps to move forward with the representation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A Texas bar license is a license granted by the State Bar of Texas to lawyers who have met the necessary qualifications and passed the Texas Bar Exam. This license allows lawyers to practice law in the state of Texas and provide legal services to clients in the state. In order to be eligible for a Texas bar license, an individual must have a law degree from an accredited law school, have completed an approved legal ethics course, and have passed the Texas Bar Exam. The State Bar of Texas is responsible for regulating the legal profession in Texas and ensuring that licensed lawyers maintain the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. Beyond the Texas Bar License, Michael (Managing Member at Raoufpour Law Firm, PLLC) also holds an active Texas Real Estate Salesperson license. A Texas real estate salesperson license is a license granted by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) to individuals who have completed the necessary education and examination requirements to become a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Texas. This license allows individuals to work for a licensed Texas real estate broker and to perform various real estate activities, such as listing and selling properties, negotiating contracts, and assisting clients with real estate transactions. In order to be eligible for a Texas real estate salesperson license, an individual must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete 180 hours of approved real estate education, and pass the Texas Real Estate Salesperson Exam.
