I had a scheduled time for 5pm and no one ever showed. There was no warning, explanation, or apology. It’s unprofessional so we canceled. Professionalism is so important especially when spending this kind of money. I know things happen and there is grace for that but again no warning, apology, or notice.

I explained the job in full detail and included the address in the initial description. I let the contractor know the day before that “My realtor has to be there and she can only be there early. Do you have availability earlier than 1pm?” I also instructed the contractor to contact my realtor and provided her phone number. All of this was done the day before the scheduled all. We set an appointment for 11:30 the following day. I kid you not, at 10:41 he sends a message on thumbtack after I had already given him the number to contact directly and he asked for the address. I responded about 10 mins later providing the address. He then calls my realtor and tells her he can’t be there until 3pm. Apparently the job was out of the way for him. Note the details had been provided previously. In addition, thumbtack provides the area code to the professionals in the are. I specifically gave him every detail possible. Yet, he still disappointed me greatly. Glad he showed the way he operates early.
