Weve been using PreFix for several years, ever since they first opened up in Austin. They have helped us out with so many home improvents over the years. To name a few, they installed a mantle for our outdoor fireplace, replaced ceiling fans, and have given us advice and feedback on so many of our appliances. They even helped up find a AC repairman within 24 hours during the hot month of August and if you live in Texas you know how hard it can be to get an AC repairman to come out in August.If you're thinking of trying PreFix, use my referral code GLTOE, when you do you'll get 2 months free!

Prefix was referred to me by the real estate agent that sold me my home in 2019. I felt that this was a much better option than a home warranty, because - why wait for something to go wrong? The preventive maintenance idea is what sold me.In addition, they have referred other professionals to me that perform work outside Prefix's scope of services (e.g., plumber, HVAC) - this has been invaluable.And, I have hired some of their staff to perform additional services (painting, handyman, etc.).I recommend them to everyone I know.

I was skeptical of the idea of a monthly warranty/maintenance service at first, but I have been with PreFix Austin since they started offering services. The twice annual inspections keep the house in it's best shape and the one-off repairs I've requested have all been executed with a level of professionalism and genuine concern that they see my house as my HOME.As far as one-off requests PreFix has:- Fixed broken blinds in my house- Performed light repairs on my fence- Helped me hang a hat/coat rack on a wall after I failed :D- Repaired my hardwood floors so they look like NEW- Gave me peace of mind about my foundationIf this review helped you decide to try them out, please use my referral code SSLFA. PreFix is a very convenient and reliable home care and repair service. Service techs in all areas of home maintenance are available on short notice for a nominal monthly fee and reasonable hourly rates. Twice a year preventative maintenance is provided with membership. Prefer it over searching blindly for a handyman.Please refer to code CAFII if you call.
