Poonam Patel w/Urban Loop Studio completely redesigned & renovated our home & did a phenomenal job. Having a designer who is a skilled architect opened up what was possible with our home & resulted in a much more open concept living area. The house looks open, airy & charming, is more functional with lots of storage. She redesigned the space to include larger windows, wonderful lighting, bathrooms, kitchen & dining room. She did an amazing job & was a pleasure to work with.

Wonderful! Before we selected Urban Loop Studio, we were stumped about how to marry different ceiling heights in our main living area where we were removing a wall. We'd been told we'd have to add a fur down, which we did not want to do. It was tricky, & 2 contractors didn't even bother to submit bids for the project. We instead hired Poonam, who quickly realized we could vault the ceiling to marry the ceiling heights, while gaining 2 1/2 feet of height in the center. It looks amazing! She also suggested vaulting the tiny tub/shower room in our master - inexpensive & what a difference that made! When our project grew from a few rooms to renovation of the entire home, she had cost-saving ideas that helped. Her training as an architect & her design ideas have made a huge impact. Thanks to her design, our formerly 3 dark, dated bathrooms now look stunning & fit our vintage/modern theme perfectly. Poonam tweaked our ideas to make the design more interesting & cleaner -- she's got a great eye. It's obvious she loves her work, & the added bonus is she's also fun to work with. My husband & I highly recommend her.

Poonam did a fantastic job designing 2 spaces in our home: our dining room and our entry room. She worked pretty closely with us from the beginning to understand our needs, what the rooms would be used for, our tastes and preferences, and our budget. She is very detailed oriented and very meticulous, and she found pieces of furniture and decor we were in love with! I am picky when it comes to home decor, and Poonam would not settle for anything I didn't absolutely love, even if that meant she would have to search longer. She brings really great ideas to the table and thinks about things that nobody else does. She also makes sure that once everything arrives it is set up correctly in the room and she follows through with all the different vendors. On top of that, she is very personable and really a nice person to work with. I highly recommend.

INTERIOR PROJECTS - Are usually an hourly fee or a percentage of the project cost depending on the complexity and scope of the project. RENOVATIONS - Are a percentage of the construction budget. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is fun, open and friendly. The first meeting is figuring out what your needs are. We then begin designing and share our ideas of how we can get you to where you need to be. After a series of design sessions, we then begin to act on the decisions that we have made to make your home a reality.
