UPDATE: Unfortunately we hate leaving negative reviews, but we felt we had to share our experience. We chose to use Thumbtack because we try to avoid situations like this and rely on reviews to decide who to hire. MWC Fabricating and Metal Works did a good job on the gates and fence, they do "Look" beautiful. We were pleased and ready to recommend them! But then, the Solar Panel Dual Swing Gate Opener only worked for ONE WEEK with the remotes. Also, the black paint started to chip on the bottom rods of the swing gates. We reached out to MWC begging for assistance and left multiple texts and phone messages and no response. Finally, they responded to an e-mail and said the following: "The project was cleared and approved by you during the final inspection, and it was noted at that time that there was no warranty on the installation besides the warranty from the solar panel manufacturer...That being said, I’ve attached the manufacturer's manual, which may help resolve the issue with the remotes." End of quote. MWC did e-mail the manual, but no invoice. What complicates things is the company is in CHINA so all of the communication is through e-mail and sending videos back and forth. We have had to resort to having an electrician help us. The electrician mentioned it seems the batteries were not connected properly and is working on trying to get it to work for us. MWC has completely washed its hands of the situation. As of yet, we have not received one phone call or text from MWC inquiring about the current situation. We were hoping to resolve this amicably and not leave a negative review but thought we should share our experience with their company. Initial Review: He did a very nice job. At a very reasonable price.
