Introduction
I work mostly behavioral teaching the dog to communicate with owner and vice Versa. I love to build a relationship this way owners feel confident spending time with their pet. My type of training is considered LIMA compliant. Which means least intrusive minimally invasive. Where I will not force a uncomfortable dog to perform a task. Always starting with positive reinforcement first. Every dog is different and so is every owner. No one is going to learn the same or even have the same need as others.

Ashley was amazing! I did the board and train program and I was very nervous about leaving my 2 dogs for 6 weeks but they couldn’t have been in better hands. My girls came back better behaved than I could have even imagined. Ashley’s professionalism and dedication to all of her clients is definitely one in a million. My girls love going back to see her when we go out of town, definitely an investment that I do not regret making.

We are in the middle of a board and train for our high anxiety 2 year old pup. Dusty is a sweetheart but can't be left alone in the house and is very reactive on the leash and in the car.
Canine City's owner Ashley has walked us through every step of the process sending pictures and videos along the way. She does not have a one size fits all approach to traning. She gives each dog and their humans what they need based on each case. Dusty doesn't only need obedience, she needs to learn how to self sooth and calm down. It is a long road but one that Ashley walks with us at each step.
Dusty has come home a few times so far during her time with Ashley so that we can work with her. Each time we pick her up, we have a session with Ashley to go over our homework. We are able to give updates and ask for help if we need it in real time. The integration has been great. And Ashley's level of investment and availability is incredible. We have seen a HUGE improvement in our Dusty and look forward to having a happier and less anxious dog.
The price tag might seem high but it really isn't long term. We don't have tons of money but I have ZERO regrets about this investment. I can tell you that we would have ended up spending way more in time and money had we tried to get the same results if we only did group or individual traning sessions with a regular trainer. This is 24/7 attention on your dog. Its really amazing. Plus we can take everything we learn from this and apply it to our future pups.
Dusty and our other dog Roo have also been there for daycare and boarding. Our Roo dog is picky and cranky about where she goes if she can't stay in our house while we are away. The first time we took her to Canine Cit she bounded out of the car and went right in like she owned the palce and had a great time. She played hard and came home a very happy dog. I can't think of a better endorsement.
