- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Honestly, we try to keep our prices as affordable as possible. This is my business. I am a professional. I won't show up to your house smelly, drunk, high or use foul language. As such, I have to charge an appropriate amount to cover my time, insurance, diesel, etc. That being said, I would like to earn the business of as many customers as possible. I do, after all, pay for this service. I try to give my Thumbtack customers a discount as I know it is stressful trying to find a contractor - especially online!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know the customer while learning what exactly they want. When I meet a customer, it is important for me to understand the full scope of the project so that I know how to best meet that expectation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been around construction since I was a kid. My Grandfather showed me how to operate all types of tools as a teenager. Having been around construction all my life, it made sense to fulfill a need in the industry to provide quality, fair services and run my own business.
