Introduction

I am old school. If I put my name on a project it will be done right. I was raised and worked on a farm and learned many skills through the years that allow me to work on a wide range of projects. I have also worked for several building contractors through the years building homes so I am very experienced in carpentry work. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Agriculture Mechanization Technology. This degree consists of a curriculum a third each of Engineering, Business, and Agriculture. Mr Ansley was excellent. He assembled a metal fire pit for us, and did some repair work on a heavy wood double rocking chair. Additionally, he repaired the front porch ceiling which had been loose and hanging.

Jeff does quality work at an extremely affordable price. Don’t let that deceive you because even though it was affordable he took the time to ensure that the project was completed to our satisfaction. Jeff arrived on time and spent 9.5 hours in this hot, humid climate dealing with a swampy mess from the recent rain but still out performed others. Jeff had a very methodical approach to our request. Even though straightening a fence doesn’t sound difficult it was indeed challenging because it was up against a retaining wall. He did a fantastic job! We will be repeat customers. I’ll be sharing his information with all my neighbors and friends.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be fair and competitive. I am not the fastest person around but I will do whatever it takes to do the job right. I prefer to quote a project rather than go by an hourly rate so that I can take the time to do the job right
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a visit to get to know the person and get an idea of how they want their project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS degree in Agriculture Mechanization Technology from the University of Georgia. This degree consists of a curriculum that includes engineering, business, and general agriculture. I had also gone through several OSHA training classes.
