- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We need to know size of stumps unless it is a large project. If the stumps are in the backyard, side yard, front yard. If backyard, what is the opening width, must be at least 37 inches. If there are any obstacles from getting machine through the gate like an AC unit, trash can holder, gas meter, tree, narrow space between house and fence, unlevel ground. Also, need to understand if there is a sprinkler system that may be impacted by grinder.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss job, give quote, show up and do work as long as there are not any surprises. Quote typically good, but sometimes assumptions are made so once we arrive we give 100% confirmation of quote or what the price difference will be.
