We had an excellent experience with Alter Construction! They built our bathroom from the ground up, and the results exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, their communication was clear, and we were kept in the loop every step of the way. The team was not only skilled but incredibly kind and efficient, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. We were so impressed that we’ve already hired them to build a fence around our backyard patio. Eli, in particular, was amazing—his attention to detail and professionalism stood out. We highly recommend Alter Construction for any project you have in mind!

My husband already left a review for our project, but I wanted to add some additional praise. Alter Construction did an absolutely wonderful job replacing our floors and I highly recommend them!
Communication: One of the first things you'll notice with Eli and his team is the tremendous amount of communication. He'll talk you through everything, provide recommendations as necessary, and answer any questions. On top of that, Eli sent us multiple updates every day that we were out of the house to keep us aware of what was happening. Pictures, video, text explanations, and he was always available for a call. It really put my mind at ease that the house was well taken care of in our absence. He ran the outside taps when it froze, kept the house at the temperature we requested, and cleaned up everything after. He also made us aware of little things like how the paint color we picked for baseboards didn't match the existing trim. With everything he did, made sure that we would be happy with the finished product.
Quality: The workmanship is outstanding. The tile is cut and laid beautifully, with no hollow sounds when walking. My father used to lay tile back in his day, so trust me when I say it was well inspected after! Our walls have rounded corners, so it was very nice of Alter Construction to cut and round the baseboards instead of leaving them sharp. It looks very clean now.
Attention to Detail: What really makes the work stand out is the team's attention to detail. They replaced a section of baseboards that wasn't in the work area to make them match because they were visible from the living room. They were kind enough to reinstall our baby gates at a higher position because the new baseboards were taller than the old ones. They even patched a hole in the carpet of one of our bedrooms with the scraps they pulled up from the living room. This wasn't something that we had asked them to do, they just took the initiative to really make everything nice for us when we came home.
Summary: If you're looking for someone to do work on your house, you can't go wrong with Alter Construction. They'll take care of you like family and I promise you won't be disappointed.

Done a handful of jobs on the house through different contractors and this company is easily the best one. He will help you every single step of the way. Starting from walking you through the house, selecting materials at the store, suggesting opinions/input, constant updates throughout the whole process, and even finishing touches that are outside of your project. He fixed a patch on a carpet that was outside of his work. He did baseboard work that was outside of his area that happened to connect to the living room. His ETA for the project was spot on too. It's insane how much detail and work ethic Eli and his company has. My wife and I love him so much that we are legit planning another project with him in the future. 100% recommend. I don't normally post reviews and I just had to for Eli.

We recently hired Alter Construction to replace and paint all the doors in our house, as well as to frame our TV cabinet, and the results were nothing short of spectacular!
From the very beginning, communication with chef Eli was smooth and effortless. He was attentive to our needs and provided valuable insights that enhanced the final outcome. Scheduling was a breeze, and Eli kept us informed every step of the way.
The team of workers was incredibly polite and professional. They arrived on time every day and were respectful of our home, ensuring that everything was kept clean and tidy throughout the process. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and their craftsmanship truly shows in the quality of the finished work.
The new doors are beautifully crafted and the paint job is flawless. The TV cabinet framing adds a stylish touch to our living room, making it a focal point that we absolutely love.

We had an amazing experience with Alter Construction having our bathroom shower remodeled. There was a little bit of a rocky start to the process when selecting the materials for the work, my wife and I had never been through a remodeling project before and were overwhelmed with the amount and specifics of materials that needed to be picked out. However, after getting some help and a bit of hand holding we were able to get all the materials selected and construction set a date to start construction.
The construction process was a dream. We spoke to Eli everyday during the construction process, he would give updates and explain in detail how things were going. When changes were needed, Eli explained the reason for the change and layed out all of the options as well as gave his personal recommendations. There was also a week that my wife and I were out of town (my brother was staying at the house) Eli called and texted everyday with updates and pictures of the work. During the construction process, the crew that was here working throughout the day was very polite and courteous.
We are so extremely happy with the finished shower, we love it so much. I cannot express enough about how happy we are about the work that was done, the crew, and about Eli. I would highly recommend and am looking forward to reaching out to Eli and Alter Construction if we decide to have any more work done around the house.
