Introduction
My name is Titus Overman. I'm a native Texan and grew up in Bastrop County. I served in the US Navy right out of High School as a navigator in the Iraq war. After the military, I attended the University of Texas at Austin and got my bachelor's degree in Studio Art. I am an artist and a maker at heart. I enjoy drawing and sculpting and just making things in general. I am a jack of all trades type of guy. I've worked with gold, silver, plastic, aluminum, wood, glass, etc. At one time I was a custom motorcycle builder and am also passionate about metalworking and welding. While attending college I worked as a handyman and for friends on their framing crews when I had time. I've been running Flying Hammer for the past 3 years. I am a highly skilled carpenter, welder and project manager. We have a small team of people that I run. We do all of the framing and finish carpentry and welding in house. For tile, masonry, larger painting projects, drywall, countertops, electrical, and plumbing we have trusted subcontractors that I've known for several years.

Titus is fantastic! We trusted Titus to an oversized piece of antique Chinese custom furniture that we couldn't fit into an apartment bedroom. It is an antique custom wooden bed that is entirely wood joints and glued together. Titus determined a way to use wood punches to separate the wooden glued pieces without any damage, so that we could move the bed into the bedroom. Then he reassembled the bed using wood screws, covered them with putty, and painted the putty with a matching paint (which he left with us for future moves!). The result is a beautiful piece of work, equally sturdy as the original glued construction, that we can disassemble and move again in the future. Bravo Titus! We are so pleased that we trusted this project to Titus!

We had a great experience with Flying Hammer Construction. Titus did a wonderful job repairing our outdoor kitchen cabinet. It was a two part process and everything was done within the timing promised. We will definitely use this company again.

Titus installed a front door for me. He did nice work, on time and efficiently. He easily resolved a couple minor complications that arose, and he was a pleasure to chat with while he was here. I'd definitely hire him again.
